EMPLOYERS, JOBSEEKERS: LEVEL PLAYING FIELD HERE
VeriResume offers a comprehensive resume-verification service to job seekers and employers
VeriResume is an innovative but simple concept designed to help employers and job seekers through the employment recruiting process. By opening and maintaining an account with VeriResume, a job seeker may submit his or her resume to be “verified,” a process during which a link is sent to the previous employers listed to verify the information and make comments if they so choose.
Verified resumes save companies time and money by providing employers the opportunity to view verified resumes and to read comments from a job seeker’s previous employer. In just seconds, an employer can complete a verification process, a previously was time-consuming and costly undertaking.
VeriResume gives job seekers a distinct edge in today’s competitive marketplace by assuring employers that the information on a job seeker’s resume is accurate, credible and trustworthy. Job seeker credibility leads to more interviews and, ultimately, more job offers.
VeriResume was created to combat the growing problem of resume fraud, which hurts both employers and honest job seekers. Resume fraud is similar to the use of prohibited steroids in sports, where participants cheat to get an edge. VeriResume levels the playing field, forcing honesty throughout the system.
Over 6,000 employers registered with VeriResume in the 90 days prior to its launch and hundreds more sign up each day. Clients such as Coca-Cola, Saks Fifth Avenue, J. Crew, PepsiCo, Papa Johns and JP Morgan Chase have opted to use VeriResume for their hiring needs.

The person who runs VeriResume, TooSpoiled, and World Voice has paid me $100 to put up some press releases about their services. At first I was totally against this. However, considering that there are no other ads on this blog, then it shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
If you've ever glanced at a magazine, have you noticed how many advertisements each one has? Fashion magazines appear to be the worst. No-one seems to complain that 60-75% of the space in the magazine is covered in ads. But when that same concept is applied to websites, it generates a lot of complaints. This is something I'm still trying to wrap my head around.
I agreed to try something new on this blog. Paid Advertising space. I guess it marks my entry into professional blogging. If you can find a high traffic related site and pay them to link to you.. you might get good sales.
This is not a Pay Per Click and that is important to note. If you find you can't afford AdWords advertising, one thing you could do is look for ways to improve your conversion rate with these paid ad spots. It's a bargain!!! $25 each ad, and it is there for eternity! In fact, I would encourage more to come my way.
