Steak and Knobber

This holiday has been created so you ladies finally have a day to show your man just how much you love him. No cards, no flowers, no special nights on the town. The name of the holiday explains it all. Just a steak and a blowjob. That's it.
Radio is notorious for stealing ideas from other radio markets. I don't know if this idea is their original and others have stolen it, but to my knowledge "Steak and Knobber Day" started on the radio show called "Dave, Shelley, and Chainsaw". Even though I don't see a mention of the holiday on the site, I was an intern at the station at the time, and that is where it came from.
Finally, this twin pair of Valentines Day and Steak and Knobber Day will usher in a new age of love as men everywhere will try THAT much harder in February to ensure a more memorable March! It's like a perpetual love machine. The word is already beginning to spread, but as with any new idea, it needs a little push to start the ball rolling.

So…is it March 14th? Or March 20th?
So far in my research, the two dates have come up about evenly.
It’s the 14th, one month after Valentines Day.
I’m down with it.
And even though the 14th has passed (…b/c my best friend just told me about), I am willing to “make it up “to my hubbie!
Steak and Knobber Day is actually March 20th. Some other DJ came up with Steak and Blowjob Day after Dave, Shelly and Chainsaw (The DSC on KGB in San Diego) created Steak and Knobber Day and he changed the date to March 14th. But the original and real date is March 20th.
Other then Father’s Day, Christmas, or Thanksgiving, it is the best damn holiday on this earth. Not just being a good husband but a man really really really needs this day. Aaaahhhhhhhhhh!! Gotta love it. Since there aren’t any government or holy holidays in the month of March, I think it was very genius of the creator for this day (Mr. Dave Rickards). I commend you my fellow soldier.

Winner was a guy who sat down to watch an Adult film with his girlfriend, and the tape had his neighbor enjoying th knobber from his girlfriend. “OUCH”

I think this is a bunch of bullshit. Men are always getting these things anyway — haven’t you seen what 40 year old men look like???
Connie, You have missed the point of this holiday. Do you hear men complain about how their woman looks, while buying them expensive jewelry? No… What you will hear is men commiserating over the fact that if they do NOT get their wife/girlfriend something nice… they will never hear the end of it. ( And NEVER say this within ear shot of anyone other than fellow men )
You are a woman, and as such, I assume you are concerned about equality in the sexes. Please allow me to ask you a few questions to test the validity of your convictions.
This questionnaire will assume you received a Valentine’s Day gift and it was something you liked. If for some reason you did not receive a gift or did not like it, there will be a portion below for this issue.

1 Do you believe that, baring physical differences such as the ability to produce eggs or sperm, men and women are essentially equal?
2 If yes, do you believe that if men and women are equal, a woman is entitled to anything a man is.. ( i.e. Military service, income, position, etc. )
If you answered “no” to questions 2, stop right here. Get back into the kitchen, kick off your shoes and make me a turkey pot pie. Bring me my paper and slippers while you are at it.

3 Is the following statement true?
If (Woman) = (Man), it stands to reason that (Man) = (Woman)
4 Does it not also stand to reason that if a woman is entitled to the same rights and responsibilities as a man… then a man is entitled to the same as a woman.

5 Is Valentine’s Day a holiday primarily for women?
If you answered “No” to question 5, then I must ask you what you got your husband/significant guy for Valentine’s Day?
It should be as follows, 1.) Of equal monetary value. 2.) Of a type of gift that would be wanted or appreciated. 3.) Geared to the tastes and desires of the individual receiving the gift. For example: it would be inappropriate for a man to buy his wife/significant girl a vacuumed cleaner or pipe and smoking jacket unless she truly wanted such things.

$45+ Card and Flowers 2 DVD’s or (Action or Sci-Fi in nature)
$80+ Card, Flowers, And Candy Minor Tech Gadget or sporting equipment
$200+ Jewelry Major Tech Gadget or Football tickets etc…
If you answered “Yes” to question 5, then it is only fair.. it is equal… to have a holiday primarily for men. Because Valentine’s Day is in fact predominately a female holiday for the greater portion of the United States, We men are entitled to Steak and Knobber Day.
You ladies should throw your support to this noble cause with not only enthusiasm but eagerness as well. Because all things being equal you are getting the better deal. Ideally, your level of participation in Steak and Knobber day, should depend greatly on your man’s adherence to the conventions of Valentines day. (incidentally Valentine’s Day is the single largest day in America for Jewelry sales, Circa 2006) If He showed his love and devotion and got you what you wanted, why not do the same in return?
All that is truly desired by men is a sumptuous meal of our 2 favorite things… meat and potatoes, An evening of our favorite TV shows… and a mind numbing Knobber that would make the angels in heaven weep. That’s it… your total out of pocket expense is what??? $15 dollars for a good piece of meat at the store? That, coupled for a little piece and quiet is all we men really want. ( and no, I did not misspell peace )
So, to sum up.. if you are for the oppression of women you are against Steak and Knobber day.
